    Cynthia Barraford C.V.T.
    Veterinary Tech School: St Petersburg College
    School: CT Center for Massage Therapy

    Cynthia has been a technician at our practice since 2002. She graduated from St Petersburg College Veterinary Technician Program. She and her husband Jim and their four legged kids reside in Rockfall. She is a certified yoga instructor and is also a licensed massage therapist.

    Rachael Chandler C.V.T

    Rachael has been a part of the technician team since 2000. Outside working hours, she can be found painting or attending concerts with her fiancé. She has two French Bulldogs (Lucy and Lila) and two cats (Lola and Mocha).

    Bridget Burton

    Bridget has been with our hospital since 2013. She is originally from Pennsylvania, but has been in Connecticut for the past 14 years. She enjoys the variety and challenges that come with a career in veterinary medicine. Bridget has special interests in canine behavior and training, as well as gardening. She shares her home with 2 dogs (Delta Dawn and Dory) and 3 cats (Mama Cat, Benny and Clyde).

    Sherri Varricchio
    School: University of Connecticut, B.S. Animal Science and Central Connecticut State University, B.S. in Accounting, B.S. in both Animal Science and Accounting

    Sherri has been with us since 2004. She has a degree in Animal Science from UCONN, as well as in Accounting from CCSU and has worked in all departments (kennel, reception and technician) in the hospital over the years. She was born and raised in Connecticut and currently shares her home with Dexter (German Shepherd), Lulu (Ragdoll cat), Honey (Maine Coon cat), and Cutie (Domestic Shorthair cat). She loves all the different personalities she encounters daily (animals and their people) and desires to make a difference in their lives everyday. She's looking forward to increasing her knowledge in the areas of both behavior and nutrition (her passions). Outside of work, she can be found horseback riding, running or relaxing at the beach.


  • Veterinary Assistant

    Angela Casanova

    Angela has been with us for over 8 years. She joined us as a member of our client care team originally but has moved into a Veterinary and Surgical Assistant role. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Biology with the ultimate goal of a Masters in Animal Behavior. She is owned by Leila the greyhound, Nessa the calico cat and Moses the Maine Coon cat. Outside of work she can be found, hiking or walking with her dog, reading or practicing yoga.


  • Veterinary Assistant

    Jennifer Misseri

    Jen, a veterinary assistant, has been part of our team since 2006. She started working here in the kennel and has transferred to the technician department. She is currently attending Central Connecticut State University in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. She is drawn to this field because of her desire to help both clients and their pets, especially in tough times. In 2014, she launched her own photography business. When she is not working or going to school, she can be found hiking, fishing, painting or photographing.
