Karen moved to Ridgecrest in 1989 from Huntington Beach, CA. She started working for VCA Crestwood in 2009 as a kennel assistant. That is when she discovered that this was the field that she was meant to be in. She then decided to further her training and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2012 and in 2021 she became a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has a great love of animals (several of her own) and loves taking photos of them.
