  I have been with VCA Countryside for a year and a half and the part I love best about my job is getting to know all of our clients and their pets. It brings me joy to be able to recognize clients and their pets as they enter our hospital and engage them in conversation as they wait for their appointment. Another joy of working here is being part of a team that helps pets stay healthy and working with the ill pets through recovery.
  
  When not working I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband, son, my cat Snowy and two dogs Baby and Bow.

  My name is Ashley and I have lived in South East Texas my whole life.  I began working with animals as a Kennel Tech when I was 15 years old and have been working with them ever since.  I have been a Kennel Tech, a Bather and a Groomer.  Recently I also managed a grooming salon in Conroe, TX.

  My experience as a groomer began when I was 19 years old.  I started my career as a bather and then attended the PetSmart Grooming Academy where I received my training.  Since then I have groomed for multiple grooming salons.

  I believe what sets me apart from the average groomer is that I really enjoy making your pet look great and feel great! I am a firm believer in never letting a pet go home looking bad and I think that quality shows itself in my work.
