Biography
Dr. Garrow earned her BA at the University of California, Berkeley and her DVM at the University of California, Davis. She completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the Sacramento Animal Medical Group. She is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society), and is certified in Veterinary Musculoskeletal Manipulation (through Options for Animals Chiropractic School) and TuiNa, a form of massage and musculoskeletal manipulation for medical conditions (trained through the Chi Institute). She is also certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine (through the Chi Institute).Dr. Garrow has two Australian Shepherds, a middle-aged male that is an enthusiastic, if not precise, agility competitor and a female puppy who will hopefully enjoy agility and possibly herding as she matures. Additionally she has three senior, ill-mannered cats who share the house with her and her husband.
