    Kimberlee Yung-Jenkins

    Knicy joined VCA in 2012 as a Veterinary Assistant and has moved up the ladder to Lead Receptionist. She lives in Antioch with her husband, Codi and their 3yr old son. Their family also includes 2 Pitbulls; Frankenstein and Bob Goblin, 2 cats; Dexter and Winifred, and 2 bunnies; Buddha and Gypsy.

    In her time away from the clinic, Knicy’s time is spent saving broken animals, being a large part of the pitbull advocate world, and running around with her son. Her dream is to own a farm/rescue and continue to change the minds of Pitbull foes!

    Natalie May
    School: Diablo Valley College 2 years

    Natalie joined VCA Cottage Animal Hospital in May of 2014. She lives in Martinez with her boyfriend and their 3 dogs; Loki, Freya, and Pip, 4 cats; Furball, Fatty, Roxy, and Scaredy Cat, and 2 Argentine black and white tegus; Salt and Pepper. Natalie’s goal is to become a veterinary technician.

    In her time away from the clinic, Natalie enjoys photography, hiking, drawing, rescuing and fostering dogs, agility training, travel, baking, and going on adventures with her 3 enthusiastic bull terriers.
     


  • Receptionist

    Mila Figueroa
    School: medical Assisting

    Mila joined our staff of Client Care Representatives in January of 2014. Mila was born in Walnut Creek, but currently resides in either Pittsburg or Roseville. Mila has 3 dogs; her beloved bull terrier, Domino, a Chihuahua, Bebe, and her boyfriends English bulldog, Odie. She also lives with two cats, Luna and Pepper. Mila enjoys hiking with her dogs, traveling, cooking, and shopping til’ she drops! She is also a die hard San Jose Sharks fan.

    Her favorite thing about her job is building relationships with clients and their “Fur kids”, and sneaking in treatment to play with the puppies and kittens!
     


  • Receptionist

    Lydia Nelson
    School: Administrative medical assistant

    Lydia joined VCA Cottage in August 2013, took a short break and came back in August 2014. She just can’t stay away. Lydia is currently a workaholic, between working at VCA Cottage and our local Veterinary Emergency Center; she has no time for herself.

    On her time off she enjoys spending it with family and friends. She also has a love for music and art, she is an undercover Picasso. Lydia loves the wonderful staff, clients and their pets at VCA Cottage, plus she gets paid to see all the adorable puppies and kittens. She is also a certified Administrative medical Assistant and aspiring Cardiac Sonographer. She loves working with animals but human medicine is her passion.
