Biography
Dr. Sonja Szymeczek is a licensed veterinarian who has obtained membership in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.After Dr Sonja received her DVM, she continued her training with a rotating small animal internship at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. She then taught surgery a North Carolina State University for many years. She See More also was accepted into their 4 year surgery residency program. After completing this program, she completed the surgery application process established by the ACVS, including the publication of reach results and passed an intensive 3 day exam to become a member of the American College of Veterinary surgeons. Dr. Sonja is also trained in PennHIP radiographs.
Dr. Sonja lives in Cary, NC with her husband and 3 daughters. They have 3 pets: PoodleOodle, Puff and Cutie Pie. See Less
