    Sandy Puterbaugh

Hi, I'm Sandy, and I'm one of the first friendly faces that greets you at VCA Conewago Animal Hospital. I joined the Conewago team in 2002 and have had the pleasure of working beside some of the most gifted and talented professionals in Veterinary medicine. I have also had the privilege to serve our clients and their fury families.

I enjoy working at VCA Conewago because I love animals and have been blessed by the relationships that I have formed with their owners. I am really proud to work for a company that offers the highest standards of pet health care available.

    Emily Wantz

My name is Emily, and I am one of the first friendly faces that our clients see when they visit our office! I have always had family pets, from dogs to guinea pigs, so working in a pet-friendly environment feels like home to me. I feel most comfortable around large breed dogs, probably because my family includes 2 Great Danes and several boxers. I especially have a weak spot for the more anxious 4-legged friends with difficult pasts. One of our Great Danes was a rescue who was severely mistreated, so providing individual and specialized care around this Gentle Giant is a full-time job that I love! I have been working for VCA just over a year, and have been at the Conewago branch since this past spring.

As a member of the receptionist team at VCA Conewago, I take pride in greeting each and every one of our clients and treating them like the important family members that they are. When our clients and their pets come to our office, I want to make sure they are offered the best experience possible.

My favorite part of my job is meeting those 4-legged friends that mean so much to their owners and families, and I love meeting owners who go the extra mile for their pets.
