VCA Companion Animal Hospital

Our Hospital

At VCA Companion Animal Hospital, we look forward to welcoming you and your pets. Everyone on our staff believes that the better we get to know your pets, the better we can provide the best possible health care for them. In fact, when you come in, you'll see exactly why our veterinarians are praised for their kind and compassionate care. We'll give you and your pet all the time you need, and never rush through an exam.

In every case, you'll be served by experienced, knowledgeable members of our staff. Our veterinarians, veterinary technicians and other pet-friendly personnel are trained to the highest standards.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous medical issues that can impact your pet's health that require your attention over the entire year. For example there's heartworm, which can affect both cats and dogs. Heartworm requires a year-round, once-a-month pill or topical treatment, because heartworm can survive in our region all year. Other concerns are fish-poisoning disease and, in the spring and summer, possible rattlesnake bites and heat stroke. Many pets can suffer from skin and ear allergies, the signs of which include scratching, redness in the ears, and "scaly" skin. Allergies can be a year-round issue, and flea and tick infestation and intestinal parasites can pose a problem in any season.

We offer a 1/2 off vaccination clinic the first Saturday of every month from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. No appointment needed.
