    Veterinary Tech School: Globe University

    Megan joined the team at VCA in February 2012 after graduating from Globe University in Eau Claire in December 2011. Megan passed her national certification exam in March 2012, and became Technician Supervisor here at Companion Care in June 2013.  Megan is married and has two children, and is also the mother to several furry children-- dogs "Banjo" and "Dakota",  and cats "Tyra", "Bailey", and new addition "Cavy".  Megan's excellent skills and cheery personality make her a great addition to the VCA Companion Care team.

    Shelly W., CVT
    Veterinary Tech School: Globe University

    Shelly graduated in June, 2013 with an associates degree in Veterinary Technology. She passed her national board exam in April 2014 to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. She lives with her boyfriend, Dj in Wausau and their cat Marbles. She spends her free time fallowing the VanDerGeest race team and loves spending time with her family & friends.

    Danielle C.
    Veterinary Tech School: Globe University

    Danielle joined Team VCA in May 2014.  She recently graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Globe University, and is currently studying to take her national board exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician.  Originally from Michigan, Danielle moved to the Wausau area 2 years ago to pursue her career dream.  She shares her home with boyfriend Neil, and fur kids Bailey (a dog) and Shirley (a rat).  Bailey and Shirley are the best of friends and love to chase each other around the house!  Danielle’s passion for animals and dedication to excellent client service make her a wonderful addition to Companion Care.

    Jackie joined our team at VCA in November 2011. Jackie aspires to be a Veterinarian, and is currently taking college courses to attain this goal. She is the proud Momma of Mishka an energetic Heeler puppy, and 2 cats Charles and Gimpy. Jackie enjoys working at VCA because of our dedication to provide pets the best care possible and our hospital’s compassion for all animals. Her kind nature and desire to learn make Jackie an outstanding member of team VCA .

    Rainie S.

    Rainie has been a valuable member of our VCA team since 2003.  She lives in Wausau and is married with 2 children, a son and a daughter.  Rainie's pet family includes a dog (Mya), 3 cats (Diesel, Viper and Clover) and many fish.  In her time away from Companion Care she loves to read and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
