Cody our Corgi
-Tracy Barone from Columbia, MD
Pet Name: CodyTo make this brief, we owe our Corgi's life to Dr Tayman. We brought him in, hunched over in pain. He had kidney stones that had blocked his urethra ... he needed to be neutered and he needed surgery. After five very emotionally draining days, we picked Cody up, and after a few days of recovery, good as new. Dr Tayman and his staff were very professional, caring and sympathetic. They went above and beyond for our dog and our family. We will continue to take all 3 of our Corgis there and have referred them to many friends and family. Thank you for saving our Cody!

Bearded Dragon
-Kevin D from Elkridge, MD
Pet Name: YoshiI cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tayman and his staff. My Bearded Dragon became seriously ill and I contacted Columbia Animal Hospital. Dr. Tayman saw him immediately. He and his staff stayed in touch with me on almost a daily basis to check on his progress. He offered guidance and suggestions and due to his care, my dragon is improving and will be fine.

Truly Lifesavers
-Kasey from Columbia, MD
Pet Name: RichieHonestly, no words can express how I feel about this group of exceptional animal lovers. I moved to Columbia, MD from California with my diabetic, Cushing's dog (and his healthy sister). The amount of stress I was experiencing was overwhelming. My first vet in Columbia (non-VCA) was not a good fit for me, and a co-worker recommended VCA Columbia Animal Hospital at Hickory Ridge. I owe this co-worker more than I can repay! The veterinarians here are so kind, competent, and honest. Never in my dogs 8 and 11 years have they received such amazing care. The administrative staff and vet techs are wonderful and incredibly loving to all animals. I completely trust these people with my dogs' lives, and that is the best compliment I can provide.

-Susan Miller from Columbia, MD
Pet Name: Hypatia and ArchimedesI have been going to VCA at Hickory Ridge for 10 years now and I am always impressed by everyone there. The vets are extremely nice and really listen to what you say. They don't stop until everything has been taken care of. The people at the front desk are great too. They are all are friendly and efficient. (I am particular to Morgan, though, she is awesome!)

Happy End Snow Story
-Angela Ruzhansky from Columbia, MD
Pet Name: SnowWords are not enough to express our gratitude for the excellent care my cat Snow received at Columbia Animal Hospital. Upon meeting Dr. Tayman and the staff at Hospital I knew Snow would be in good hands.
Snow, is Domestic-Bengal mix long-hair 5 year old cat, who was diagnosed with severe side affects to his liver after the prosaic respiratory infection. He was week, did not eat or drink for nearly 5 days, and looked very sick. I called hospital and we were taken right away on emergency basis right before Christmas Day. Snow spent all day in clinic recovering by getting the fluids and medications given to him all day long. The extraordinary care from staff members on this critical day, right diagnosis’s and tests that came along shortly after which was relatively inexpensive comparing to the magnitude of symptoms are one of the many great things that I am grateful for.
Dr. Tayman very efficiently approached the diagnostic and treatment plan prescribing right medications. More over, he also was generous enough to follow up on next day, holiday Dec 25th, with his recommendation of best care for Snow, directions and instructions on how properly force feed him and what symptoms to watch that could be red-flag signs.
In a week our precious Snow which is very loving family member to all us was entirely recovered.
Dr. Tayman and his team are a Godsend, and I am so very appreciative of their loving, kind, and life-changing treatment they provided our lovely family member Snow.
