"As a high school student I had an aptitude for math and sciences. I also have a lifelong fascination with animals- I went to carnivals and local fairs to go to the petting zoos while everyone else my age was riding rides and playing games.  Then, I read "All Creatures Great and Small" by James Herriott - and my future was set.  When people ask me what I do I don't say: "I'm a veterinarian,"  I say: "I am an Animal Doctor."  I am an Animal Doctor because it is what I was born to be, and I feel very fortunate to live that dream every day.

"Ballet makes me weep, pets make me smile"
