"I originally ventured into the veterinary field just because I wanted to be involved in animal care. I did not know what to really expect and hoped I would enjoy my job. Since animal care is an important part to my coworkers, the clients, and to me, we automatically make a connection and have a common goal; provide the best care possible to each pet. Although part of the day is consumed by daily duties, there is always time to interact with clients and their pets. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our clients and each pet always has an interesting story. It is even more rewarding when you can help a client and their pet through a difficult time by providing care and comfort."

"Many things contribute to my enjoyment of a day of work at VCA Columbia Animal Hospital. I love helping not only the animals that come through the door but also their owners in making sure their animal's health is impeccable. The thing I love most about what I do is the fact that I actually do love it. It's not a job if you love what you do, it's a pleasure. I am eager to help all the animals that come thorugh the doors, seniors and youngsters. I cherish every happy face and wagging tail I meet. It's only a greater pleasure to make sure the animals stay happy. I am glad that our clients choose VCA Columbia Animal Hospital because that means that I get to meet a new face and a new four-legged friend. VCA Columbia has given me great experience in my line of work that I will not soon forget."
