Technician SupervisorMaryBeth Oltmer
MaryBeth Oltmer is our hospital's very capable Technician Supervisor. She's been with Closter Animal Hospital for many years. MaryBeth was born in Englewood hospital, and raised in Cresskill. She owes her passion for animals and her work ethics to her mom & dad. MaryBeth holds an AS degree in Horsemanship/Leisure Services. After graduating Post College, MaryBeth came in for an interview in 1982 and has been a loyal employee and a caring technician ever since. MaryBeth lives with her husband, 2 dogs and 1 cat in Ringwood, NJ. When vacation time comes, they all pack into the truck and ride to a wilderness log cabin in the middle of nowhere in the Maine woods. MaryBeth enjoys fishing, geocaching, hiking, canoeing and just about anything outdoors!
Christina has been with Closter Animal Hospital since 2013. Her furry children are Lady, a Boxer and Grux, a Whippet. She loves tie dying and supplies the whole hospital with colorful clothes. She enjoys traveling, visiting breweries all over the country and going to concerts. She's a big fan of Dave Matthew's Band. What Christina likes most about her job? - "I love when I make a difference in not only the animal's life but the owner's as well!"
Michele is our transplant from North Carolina and has been with Closter Animal Hospital since 2008. Michele is the proud mother of three 2-legged children as well as her five 4-legged kids... her two cats Yankee and Mooshi and her three dogs: Ty, a Yorkshire Terrier, Fat Frankie, a Miniature Dachshund and Sage, a German Shepherd. In her free time she enjoys walking and going to the Beach. She loves fishing and having lots of BBQ's. What Michele likes most about her job? - "Helping animals when they are sick. I also enjoy being in the Operating Room and doing dental procedures."
Shannon joined our team at Closter Animal Hospital in 2013. She is the proud owner of two cats, Sabrina and Marley. She is very interested in Psychology and enjoys hiking and anything that has to do with being outdoors. What Shannon likes most about her job? - "My co-workers and seeing the love and bond shared between owners and their pets."
