    Heidi L.
    School: University of Vermont

Heidi comes to the Arlington area after living in Portsmouth, NH for many years.  She is orginally from Vermont where she attended the University of Vermont, focusing her studies in Anthropology.  Her professional career has focused on Marketing Support, Customer Service Administration and Management.

Having grown up on a dairy farm, Heidi has a great passion for animals.  This brought her to join the VCA family of animal hospitals in the summer of 2010 and then transferred to City Cats in May 2012.  She likes to draw from her professional and personal experience to provide each client and their pet(s) with a cheerful sincerity and compassion.  When asked what she likes best about her position at City Cats, she stated "The clients become like an extended family and I get to fulfill my cat fix every day--it's pure enjoyment!"

Heidi's home is shared with a pit bull mix named Jada, whom she adopted in 2006.  This union fueled a great adoration for the breed and led her to become a foster for other pit bulls looking for their forever homes.  Both Jada and Heidi greatly enjoy hiking, gardening (Jada loves to dig!), training together and volunteering along with their current foster companion.

    Chris T.

Chris joined the VCA City Cats team in the summer of 2012, bringing her passion for healthcare and client services to the Arlington office. She champions every client’s right for information and encourages curiosity at the doctor’s office. No question is too small!

Chris grew up with dozens of pets, and she now lives with her own personal menagerie of two cats and two dogs. She intends to add chickens and sheep to the mix in the near future, combining her love of wool with the desire to raise her own food.
