Dr. Matz worked as a veterinarian at Cheshire Animal Hospital early in her career. She then started her practice performing house calls before opening her own location, Animal Medical Care of CT, in 2009. 

Dr. Matz has dedicated her life to caring for all animals, starting at a young age at the Bronx Zoo, then continuing on to the University of Tennessee Veterinarian School. She graduate in 1992 and started her 10 years of emergency medicine in CT.  Dr. Matz works tirelessly to ensure her patients receive the care they deserve.
