Hi, my name is Kaori (pronounced like Cody). I graduated from Baker Community College's Veterinary Technician's program in June of 2006, and became licensed immediately thereafter. Also, I have been working as a pet groomer since 2002. I enjoy working with animals and people here at Cherry Bend.

I married my best friend, Dan, in 2000 and moved here with him from Japan. We have a German Sheperd dog, "Nechan" (means sister in Japanese)

Outside of work, I enjoy road cycling and mountain biking. I am very fortunate to have a job here at VCA Cherry Bend Animal Hospital and to have a bike trail right next to the clinic!

I have been working at VCA Cherry Bend Animal Hospital since June of 1999. I started when I was 16 years old in the kennels. Now I am an assistant and a certified groomer. I have one cat named Molie. VCA Cherry Bend Animal Hospital is my second home, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I started working at VCA Cherry Bend Animal Hospital in September of 2004, a few months after graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Baker College of Cadillac. In March of 2006, I took home a kitten that Cherry Bend had given a second chance at life. His name is Orion, a black and white domestic long hair. From there I adopted another cat from Cherry Bend called Eragon, he's orange and white. The cats and I are happy to have found each other. I hope to be seeing you and your pets soon.

I started working at VCA Cherry Bend Animal Hospital in July of 2000 as a veterinary assistant. I have learned so much throughout the years and have made some great friends for life.

In 2004, I started taking on-line classes and training to become a groomer. Since then, I have graduated and have become a certified groomer. I additionally did training with a professional groomer with over 20 years of experience.

Since starting at Cherry Bend, I have adopted 3 cats: Millie, Toby and McMonster. Unfortunately, Millie and Toby have passed away; but, I have recently added an exotic shorthair named Paris and two 13 year old Shepard mixes, named Bear and C.J., to my family.

In August, 2005 I was married to a wonderful man named Jeff and we recently bought our first house.
