Growing up in Africa, I am truly blessed to have been exposed to the abundance of wild life; we always had a variety of pets in the house and because of this exposure I have always had a passion about animals. I would bring all sorts of injured and not so injured animals home as a child, to my parents delight.
Five years ago I joined a group called Soul Dog Rescue, based in Colorado, and it’s because of them I decided to change my career. I am now studding to become a veterinarian technician and one day hopefully a Veterinarian.

Hello! I just wanted to say how happy I am to be able to work with pets and their owners on a daily basis. Having two Dachshund/Yorkie (dorkie) mixes myself, I know how much pets become part of our families and our daily lives. Their names are Jimi and Morello, and are named after my two favorite guitar players, Jimi Hendrix and Tom Morello. I was born and raised in Big Rapids, Michigan, before going to Central Michigan University where I majored in journalism. After, graduating, I spent some time working in Grand Rapids while my wife Dana finished college. We eventually decided to move north to Williamsburg, and we haven't looked back! The culture of people we have met in Northern Michigan is unlike anything we've seen anywhere in the state. I am very excited to meet more of the pet and pet owners that make up the Grand Traverse Area.
