I am originally from New York. I graduated from the State University of New York at Delhi with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. I then received my New York State license for Veterinary Technology in 2014. After working in New York for two years I decided to move to Charleston in January 2016. I couldn’t take anymore snow! I Joined he VCA family in February, 2016.  I have two fur babies. Shockey, is my beloved senior American Eskimo who still lives in NY with my Parents and my new addition Tucker. Tucker is a Border Collie mix that I adopted from the Charleston Animal Society.  In my spare time I love being outside and enjoying time with family, friends and of course my four-legged friends.       "I solemnly dedicate myself to aiding animals and society by providing excellent care and services for animals, by alleviating animal suffering, and promoting public health.  I accept my obligations to practice my profession conscientiously and with sensitivity, adhering to the profession's Code of Ethics, and furthering my knowledge and competence through a commitment to lifelong learning."

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Catie Cloutier

I am originally from Herndon VA. I came and visited Charleston for college and fell in love with the city. I am currently working towards my BA in Jewish Studies and BS in Marine Biology at the College of Charleston. I am apart of Sigma Delta Tau sorority on campus and an avid member in Jewish student life on campus.  I will be also studying for my veterinary technician license for a year in VA while I au pair. Eventually I would like to try to go to Veterinary school. I have two beautiful black cats; Lucy and Ricky, who were both found downtown on the street when they were just 4 weeks old.. I love the outdoors (I am apart of the outdoors club at the College) and don’t mind getting my hands a little dirty if it means I am having fun, especially if it involves the water.      “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” "Anatole France
