Hurray for VCA Chancellor Animal Hospital

-Kim Isada from Spotsylvania, VA

We moved to the area in October 2008. We have been using VCA Chancellor Animal Hospital during the past year for boarding our dog and guinea pig, as well as for medical care and preventive health care.

The physicians, technicians, and staff at VCA Chancellor Animal Hospital have become like family to us. They have taken excellent care of our pets and treat them with genuine concern and fondness.

I have been able to travel for the first time in many years because of my confidence in the care my pets receive at VCA Chancellor Animal Hospital.

I highly recommend this animal hospital/boarding facility.

Very Impressed

I am the proud owner of 4 beautiful ferrets, but unfortunately veterinarians who treat ferrets and other exotics are a rare find in this area. I usually take my pets to Spotsylvania Animal Hospital, but decided to try VCA Chancellor Animal Hospital because of the free visit coupon. After the first 5 minutes of doctor interaction, I knew my little girl was in good hands. The doctor was very knowledgeable, caring, and confident in her treatment, and her supporting staff members were wonderful as well. The visit was an all around perfect experience, and any waiting time was minimal. Even better, I received a follow-up call from them the very next day, checking on my girl's recovery. Needless to say, this vet office had me at hello, and I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

Very Impressed

-J.R. Smeader from Fredericksburg, VA

On 30 July 2010 while I was at work some 60 miles away from home, I received a phone call from my granny telling me our cat (Ms. Stubbs) was very sick and that she needed to get to the vets and if you have ever driven in DC traffic you would know it could take you 3+ hours to drive the 60 miles. I called Chancellor and spoke with Cindy about our pet and was their any way she or someone from the staff could help me out, and she said let me work something out and I will call you back. Cindy called me to tell me someone was going to pick up our sick baby and not to worry. Kayla arrived at my home and Grams let her in and she went right to work in getting our sick kitty into the carrier and back off she went like grease lighting Grams said. Folks, words can NOT EXPRESS how GRATEFUL I AND GRAMS are to ALL of you for the many things you have done for me and her over the years with our pets. Please express to your OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEES how VERY GRATEFUL we are. You have the best DOC's world and PLEASE, PLEASE let them know we do really do love them as much as we love the hole staff at VCA CHANCELLOR.

I am impressed

I just found VCA Chancellor. I have 2 dogs that can be difficult while getting treated. I was very impressed with the greeting I received from Cindy at the front desk she not only greeted me with a smile but helped me in the door and entertained my 2 kids. The Dr. were very kind and patient. I have found a place where I feel welcomed. I would pay whatever I had to to get first class service.

Sincere Thank You

-Deb Boutchyard from Spotsylvania, VA

On Saturday, October 22nd, this beautiful boy threw a clot- he was in extreme pain and unable to move his back legs. I called Chancellor literally two minutes before closing- without hesitation they told us to come. We knew there was likely nothing they could do, but we didn't want him to suffer. The staff was wonderful. Although I'm sure they we're anxious to call it a day, they did not make us feel rushed. They were gentle and compassionate with us and our boy as they eased his suffering and helped him cross. You have our sincere gratitude for going the extra mile for us during such a difficult time.

Really wonderful peple

I have 2 pound dogs and they came with a lot of physical issues. In the course of many visits to VCA I believe I worked with every Vet. and tech. on the staff. They are honestly all very talented and caring people. Our youngest (a puppy age unknown) had many problems so I wanted to stick with 1 doctor. I chose Dr. Thompson because we had to put our good friend (Kooky Luke) to sleep at age 15 due to extreme discomfort. Dr. Thompson helped us with that and did so with extreme compassion along with a tear in her eye. There are not enough words to tell you what a bright and talented Dr. she is. but I can tell you that she cares!
