Dr. Yamilka Lago is from Miami and graduated from Ross University in 2019 (Clinical Year At UF). She then completed a rotating internship at the University of Illinois followed by a Theriogenology internship and residency Cornell University. Dr. Lago is also residency-trained in Reproductive Medicine and says, "As I am residency trained in reproductive medicine, I enjoy communicating with owners to provide information regarding breeding and promote animal well-being, reproductive health and general testing."

In her time off, Dr. Lago enjoys cooking and baking with her family. She also loves to go on hiking trails in upstate NY.
