Dr. Jessica Carbonell, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, University of Tennessee

"The reason I chose this profession is because of my combined interest in science, medicine, and love for animals. When I was young we always had a house full of animals. I loved their intelligence and loyalty, however when they were sick or hurt I felt helpless as a child. I admired our Veterinarian for taking such good care of them and at that point I knew I wanted to do the same. Now I realize how important of a role I play in educating people on how to keep their pets healthy and comforting those when it's time to let go."                             Dr. Jessica Carbonell is a South Florida native, born and raised. She received a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Florida Atlantic University and then traveled north to pursue her degree in Veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Carbonell is happily married with two young sons. She has a full house at home, including four dogs: "Bailey", "Moka", "Sierra", and "Yonah".
