  • Certified Veterinary Technician

    Melissa Demars

Melissa moved here from Michigan's Upper Peninsula in 2008. She graduated from Argosy University with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in December of 2010. She enjoys working with all animals, but small mammals and exotics are her favorite.

  • Certified Veterinary Technician

    Alisa Montague

Alisa is pictured with her 4 cats she fostered since they were 2 days old. The kittens were not able to find homes, so they found a forever home with Alisa. The rest of the family at home includes a Pekingese named Wicket, a Bearded Dragon named Xena, and 2 guinea pigs, Shelly and Flay.
Alisa knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field since she was 5 years old and completed that goal in 2007 when she graduated from the Minnesota School of Business with a degree in veterinary technology and started working for VCA that same year. Exotic pets have always been a passion of hers and she was very thankful to have started her dream job straight out of school.
Outside of work Alisa enjoys reading, hiking, any and all movies, sketching/painting, gardening, and works with kids ranging in preschoolers to 12th graders at her local church.
