Trilva Melbo, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, University of Minnesota

I have enjoyed every part of being a  veterinarian. It is rewarding to see our little puppies and kittens grow into adults, enriching their owners lives. Caring for all life stages brings a balance to practicing veterinary medicine. Medicine, general surgery and dentistry makes sure the day to day is varied and interesting.  Not pictured is Hazel Marie, her  sidekick, who is keeping her very busy. Hazel is a registered therapy dog and has enjoyed visiting senior centers. Dr. Melbo also has begun training with BART to help train first responders learn first aid for pets caught in emergency situations. Hazel and her Mom are frequent visitors to local state parks where they enjoy hiking with family and friends. Dr. Trilva  Melbo has been with VCA Cedar View Animal Hospital since 1984
