    Patti LeVan
    Veterinary Tech School: Snead State Community College

    Patti began her career at VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital in 1989 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Snead State Community College in 1995 with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology and is currently working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Technical Supervisor.  Patti lives in Ringgold with her husband, Eric, and 2 teenage daughters.  They share their home with 2 Westies, Kirby and Kye, and 2 cats, Charity and Fluffy. 

    "Since childhood, I wanted to have a career in the veterinary field.  I chose veterinary technology because I wanted hands on nursing care with my patients."

    Kim Edgeman
    Veterinary Tech School: Chattanooga State

    Kim started working at VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital in 1998 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Chattanooga State in 2008 with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology and is currently working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Kim has lived in many different states growing up, but Georgia is by far her favorite.  She currently lives in Ringgold with her husband, Eric, son, Wil, and teenage stepson, Gage.  Wil is a big ball of excited energy and Gage is turning into a handsome young man.  They have 3 dogs and a cat.  They also have an occasional farm animal in the yard.  Kim's family keeps her on toes and she wouldn't have it any other way.

    "I have always wanted to care for animals.  Not just the cute and cuddly, but all animals.  I enjoy the challenge of earning their trust and watching as they progress."

    Katie Kerley
    Veterinary Tech School: Snead State Community College

    Katie joined VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital in 1993 as a veterinary assistant. She graduated from Snead State in 2000 with an Associate in Veterinary Technology Degree. and is currently working as a licensed veterinary technician. She has lots of furry companionship with 2 chihuahuas, Petunia and Lily, and 2 kitties, Clover and Rose.

    Jenny Chapman

    Jenny has been with VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital off and on for over 10 years.  She joined our team for the second time in April 2008, after moving back to the area.  Born in Michigan, but growing up in Georgia, Jenny has 4 sisters and 1 brother that she enjoys spending free time with.  She currently lives in Ringgold with her husband, Matt, and 2 cats, Fiona and Hal. Jenny enjoys baking, knitting, and traveling.

    "I work with animals because I enjoy seeing them get the care they deserve.  Pets are members of the family.  It is nice to be able to see pet owners happy and appreciative of what we do."

    Lorie Drew

    Lorie originally started at VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital as a receptionist in 2002.  She left for a brief time, but returned in May 2008 as a veterinary assistant.  Lorie also had receptionist and assistant experience from East Ridge Animal Hospital.  She is married with 2 kids, Hailey and Braden and loves spending time with her family.  She also has 2 dogs, Parker and Jersey.

    "I love animals and people.  Every day has a different pet coming through the door and it keeps things interesting."

    Caylee Higdon

    Caylee Higdon joined our team in April 2015.  Caylee enjoys working out, hiking, and swimming.  She is currently attending online classes to become a veterinary technician.  Caylee enjoys the outdoors with her pitbull Remi and her Chihuahua, Mia.  She also has a tabby cat named Baby.

    "I work with animals because it has always been my passion. As I grew up, I wanted to be a veterinarian and one day I hope to achieve that goal."

    Lance Postelle

    Lance has been working for VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital since March 2013 as a veterinary assistant.  He was born and raised in Catoosa county.  Lance enjoys martial arts and gaming with friends on the weekends. He also teaches at Eagles Rest Ranch in the Therapeutic Riding program for autistic children. Lance has a pitbull mix named Molly.

    "I have worked with animals since I was 15 at a therapy ranch and it is just something that I love to do."

    Jessica Robertson

    Jessica joined our hospital team in July 2011. She is the oldest of 3 siblings and currently attends Dalton State studying chemistry.  Jessica plans to transfer to UGA to attain a pharmaceutical degree.  She has a full house of animals with a horse, 2 dogs, a Flemish Giant rabbit, a chinchilla, 3 hamsters and a Diamond Dove.

    "I like the people here and all the different patients and clients I get to meet every day."

    Kirby Snyder

    Kirby joined our veterinary assistant staff in October 2014.  She has 2 boys and a girl on the way!  Kirby also has 2 pitbulls, Mac and Sadie, a rabbit, Greasy, and a pony, Dudley.  Kirby participated in rodeo during her high school years and loves her furbabies as children.

    "I view animals as people that deserve the same love and care as humans and it brings me great joy to provide that care."

    Lesley Van Duinen

    Lesley joined our staff in January 2012.  She moved to the Chattanooga area from Boston with her fiance in 2011.  She went to high school in Santiago, Chile and studied Philosophy at Wellesley College in Boston.  Lesley is now studying to be a Veterinary Technician at Chattanooga State.  She shares her house with 2 dogs, Bailey & Bella, and 3 crazy cats, Esmerelda, Augustus, and Kiwi. Lesley and her husband enjoy hiking and exploring Chattanooga.

    Krista Vineyard

    Krista has been part of our staff since April 2006.  After she began working here, she decided to go back to school to be a surgical technologist because she found surgeries on animals so fascinating.  After graduating and getting a full time job at a doctor's office, she found she just couldn't leave her veterinary family and continues to work on the weekends.  Krista has 2 daughters and lives nearby in Fort Oglethorpe.  She loves Miniature Schnauzers and shares her home with 3 of them, Heidi, Sophie, and Jack.  She also has a new kitten, Sparkles.

    "I love all animals, big and small.  I love taking care of them and helping to make them feel better.  I tell people all the time that I can't believe I get paid to love on puppies and kitties all day!"
