Very good service

Pet Name: Chairman Meow
I got my kitten three weeks ago and I have brought him to VCA twice and both times, the staff are really professional, friendly and provide me with everything I need to know to make my kitten strong and healthy and have a good life with me!

When I returned to the Philly area in 1994, I interviewed several vets and chose the Cat Hospital. The staff's kindness, knowledge and hard work is evident. Whether its an acute problem, or chronic issues or even just a nail trim for wiggly cats, the staff is always ready and willing.
-Jackie from Philadelphia , PA
Pet Name: Harrison
I recently took my cat Harrison to the VCA after he was diagnosed with a urinary track blockage. It was the first time anything serious happened to my cat and needless to say it was an extremely stressful and emotional time. The team at VCA were all so supportive and kind from the moment I walked through the door. Dr. Simpson gave me multiple courses of treatment and explained to me, in detail everything Harrison would be going through. I had to leave Harrison there overnight, which was very hard in the moment. I knew he was in GREAT hands medically but after being emailed a picture of him resting well later that night, I knew he was in the hands of compassionate people who understand that our pets are our family. Sadly, I ended up having to put Harrison down. I can't describe how caring and supportive everyone there was when I arrived at the VCA. They knew why I was there and walked me through the steps of the appointment. They waited until I was ready. There was no rush to move onto the next appointment. I had the chance to say goodbye. After leaving the VCA, I was contacted by Harrison's doctor assuring me that I made the right decision and that she was there for me if I needed her. That gesture made all the difference in my grieving process. What a remarkable group of people they have working at the VCA.
My kitties love the VCA staff!

Pet Name: Becky, Froggy, and Reginald
I've been going here for 6 years now (even after I moved to Fairmount from Rittenhouse 3 years ago), and I love Dr. Simpson and the staff at VCA! Everyone is so helpful and pleasant. Dr. Simpson has an excellent "bed-side manner" for all three of my cats and will gladly answer any questions I have. The vet techs are really great too, even with one of my cats (Becky) who tends to get annoyed with vet visits.
Dr. Nicola Painter & Staff
-Michael from Philadelphia, PA
Pet Name: Noah
Our distinguished gentleman as Dr. Painter refers to him was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease which is common in senior cats. What is not so common is the level of care he has received from Dr. Painter and team. I have had the pleasure of interacting with Dr Painter during the treatment process. As a healthcare professional myself I can say that the care he has received has kept him happy and healthy longer than one with advanced stage CKD could imagine. Dr Painter is professional and pragmatic, furthermore it feels as if she is a friend through her pleasant interactions. She has gone above and beyond for our cat and us. I cannot thank her enough for going the extra mile and Incorporating our concerns into his care. And while Noah our cat isn't always happy to see Dr Painter, I for one am. Her acumen and ability to relate makes all the difference. Thank you Dr Painter and VCA Team for your compassion and empathy.
First and not the last
-D. Blake from Philadelphia, PA
I really enjoyed my visit to the VCA Cat Hospital of Philadelphia. My cat, Tabby, was a bit nervous but the care and attention that Dr. Van Saun and her staff showed was excellent. Tabby is now healthier and happier after receiving treatment. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who has cat needs.
