  When I returned to the Philly area in 1994, I interviewed several vets and chose the Cat Hospital. The staff's kindness, knowledge and hard work is evident. Whether its an acute problem, or chronic issues or even just a nail trim for wiggly cats, the staff is always ready and willing.

  I must admit that I have been to a few veterinary practices over the years, but they do not compare to the doctors and staff at the VCA Cat Hospital of Philadelphia. Just waking into their office I felt comfortable. The staff and technicians there are top notch. They have a way with cats and more importantly, my cats feel comfortable with them from my oldest 20 year old cat down to my 6 year old. I’ve been taking my cats there for quite some time now. I recently had various medical issues with my cats and for the first time saw Dr. Nathanael Oster for their care. As are all the veterinarians there, Dr. Oster is very kind and caring. He called and emailed me with test results and follow-up treatment. I wish my own personal doctor would take as much time with my care as Dr. Oster has taken with my fur babies.

  Loving, caring, and the best vet practice for our two precious cats.The entire team is excellent. Dr. Christine Bohn, our "primary care vet", is simply outstanding. She has taken us through the many critical issues with both of our cats, and was supportive and wonderful when we lost Callie. She is now taking magnificent care of Oliver, and seeing him through a difficult period, always responsive to our questions and concerns. The office staff couldn't be better or more helpful.

  My testimonial is a little late, actually really like 3 yrs. Guess i just couldn't bring my self to talk about it until now some people may think it's a long time to grieve actually still grieving even though i have adopted another kitty named Misty had her almost 3 yrs now. Mimi came down with kidney disease all of a sudden. my vet at that time gave her a few weeks to live. Taking her home upset crying not know what to do for my baby she was 15yrs old then. Thats when a friend told me about VCA so i took her there thats when i met Dr.Bohn. She told me what was wrong and she would handle it she said she would do everything she could to help us. after a few weeks Mimi came home Dr. Bohn put her on a special diet, she had to be given fluids everyday and special iron supplements.With Dr.Bohhns help i enjoyed my baby for another 2 1/2 yrs. When it came time to let her go Dr. Bohn was there with me she showed compassion she even cried with me ..We have become good friends.She is fantastic.I live an hr and 1/2 from her office but i will never take my current cat anywhere else for health care.Thanks to Dr. Bohn and the staff at VCA

  Dr. Bohn and Dr. Simpson have been wonderful with my cats, Bushka and Delilah. I unfortunately had to have Delilah put down this morning and Dr. Simpson was so gentle and reassuring throughout the process. The doctors always take time to follow up with phone calls and questions and the front desk staff are also very kind and helpful. Appointments can be made quickly and easily and treatment options are outlined thoroughly before deciding on what is best. The doctors understood my financial constraints and assisted me with the best possible treatment with financial options in consideration. My cat Bushka is quite a handful and although Dr. Simpson requires the 'oven mitts' to handle her during exams, she is gentle and maintains a good sense of humor. I feel at peace here, knowing that I and my fur-babies are in the best of hands. Thank you for your compassion.

  Next month my 2 Siamese, Ziggy and BooBoo, will turn 20, a testament to the great vets at VCA of Phila. They have nursed Ziggy through acute and chronic inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreatitis. BooBoo has her share of geriatric troubles. Dr. Bohn now visits them at home. We love Dr. Bohn!

  Over four years ago I brought Stewie to VCA for an evaluation. I was frustrated because of not getting answers from his previous vet regarding his constant scratching and excessive fur loss. Dr. Bohn evaluated his symptoms and shortly thereafter an effective treatment plan was put into place. Currently Stewie and his brother Logan continue to be patients of VCA. I am very pleased with Dr. Bohn and her staff with how supportive, attentive, caring, professional, and knowledgeable they are with them.Thank you for taking good care of the boys!!

  Where to start. The staff of VCA is unbelievable. From the front desk to the the Doctors. I can only say how grateful to Dr. Bohn, Dr. Simpson and Dr. Kurpel I am. They not only literally saved my cats life, provided the best care to my Grace and Daisy, but have provided me with comfort and knowledge about what is going on with my girls. I am (as are my girls) so attached to Dr. Bohn, that I refuse to move far away so they can have the best care. I've been a client for over 20 years and can say without a doubt this is the best staff EVER. They are kind, caring and knowledgeable. I would never consider taking any cat to another vet.
