Biography

Dr. Jennifer Babineaux graduated with honors from UCLA in 1985 with a degree in economics, and then obtained an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 1989. After working in the field of finance for 10 years, she changed careers to pursue her love of veterinary medicine. She graduated with honors from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Babineaux completed a three-year residency in internal medicine in 2009, and has worked as an internist at the San Francisco SPCA and at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists, with a special focus on performing abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds.  She received American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) certification, Feline Practice, in 2013. Her professional interests include intestinal disease, endocrinology, kidney disease and cardiac disease. Dr. Babineaux lives in Center City with her husband, two cats and a dog. She is enjoying exploring Philadelphia and its many  restaurants and farmers markets. She is thrilled to be a part of the VCA Cat Hospital of Philadelphia team.
