Dr. Hannah Jacobs received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University in 2020, completing her clinical training through Auburn University. She went on to participate in the emERge Program offered by Blue Pearl Emergency and Specialty Hospital, a three-month long immersive training to obtain the basic skills and confidence required to work in the ER setting. She stayed on staff here until joining VCA's Travel ER DVM program in Fall 2023 and has found her favorite cases to be those involving toxins. Dr. Jacobs currently resides outside of Atlanta but is excited to be moving back to her hometown in Wilmington, North Carolina with its beaches soon. When not working, she and her husband love attending football and baseball games and share a common goal to visit each of the NFL stadiums! Most Sundays they can be found attending Falcons home games. Dr. Jacobs also enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading, yoga and, of course, travel.
