    Veterinary Tech School: Median School of Allied Health Careers

    Jeff graduated from the Median School of Allied Health Careers/veterinary assistant program and joined VCA Castle Shannon in 1996. He became the Technical Supervisor in 2004. He has a Dogue de Bordeaux named Deuce, a Pomeranian named Bella, a Chihuahua named Nigel and 3 cats. In his free time he breeds African Cichlids.

    James and Erich are two of our evening, emergency and overnight technicians. James has worked here since 2007, Erich since 2008.

    Laura joined our team in 2008.  She is a licensed veterinary technician and also our hospital's Cat Champion! Laura has a passion for feline medicine and coordinates all of our cat-friendly programs.

    Three of our Licensed Technicians. Denise is also certified in RDMS (AB) from ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonogram). Denise started at CSAH in 1998, Missy in 2007 and Kris started in 1986.

    Stephanie graduated from the Vet Tech Institute and is a licensed technician. She owns dogs, cats and rats. Her favorite animal she has worked with is a white Rhino.

    Denise graduated from Median School. She began her career at VCA Castle Shannon in 1992. She has been the purchaser for the hospital for the past 16 years. Denise lives in South Park Twp., with her daughter Sierra, a dog, 4 cats and a guinea pig.

    Na Keyda graduated from the Western School of Health and Business veterinary technician program in 2009. She just started at Castle Shannon in 2012. She owns two chinchillas, a savanna monitor, and a corn snake.

    Jeff, our technical supervisor has worked here 15 years, and Shirley(RVT) our lab and outpatient tech has worked 35 years at Castle Shannon.
