Dr. Wentzel is the Medical Director at California Oaks Animal Hospital. He has been with Cal Oaks since 2005. His areas of interest are internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, and preventative medicine. He has extended interest in abdominal ultrasound and in surgical correction of stifle (knee) injuries, including cruciate injury and luxating patella.

Prior to joining COVH in 2005, Dr. Wentzel served for 10 years as a staff veterinarian in a small animal practice in Wisconsin.
