Patricia Pruden, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Ohio State University

Dr. Pruden joined our practice in January of 2009. She lives in Geneva with her husband and two children, Michael and Jennifer.

She and her family have quite a menagerie of animals: Rex, a black lab; Patches, a grey tabby cat, and Goldie, an orange tabby. They also raise Barred Rock and Golden Comet chickens!

Dr. Pruden received her B.A. from the University of Findlay in 1990, where she studied pre-veterinary medicine with a minor in chemistry. She then went on to vet school at Ohio State, and graduated in 1994.

Dr. Pruden's area of interest professionally, are canine and feline wellness, cardiology, and feline geriatrics.

Due to her long commute from Geneva, Dr. Pruden enjoys listening to books on CD while in her car. She also enjoys gardening, 4-H (helping her children with chickens and pigs), and is very involved in her church including teaching Sunday school.

Dr. Pruden's calm, gentle, thorough manner of practicing, makes her a great addition to our team!
