VCA Animal Hospital (Burbank)

Veterinary Support

  • Veterinary Assistant Supervisor

    Mike Machado

Mike started working for VCA about 10 years ago at VCA All-Care. He worked there for about 4 years and that is also where he met his beautiful wife. They worked as technicians together until she was accepted to veterinary school in NY. They moved back to California after graduation and Mike started working at VCA Burbank. He has now been with VCA Burbank for 5 years and has recently taken on the role of technician supervisor. His spare time is spent on the golf course or playing competitive golf in the LA and OC areas. He started running and going to classes at his local gym to be in better shape for golf tournaments and now is hooked on running. He has competed in some local races and plans to do many more including competing in a triathlon this year.

    Rigo Colio

My name is Rigoberto and I have been working for VCA since 2002 and have been at VCA Burbank Animal Hospital since 2010.My interest in this field vary from working on preventative disease care, dental work up and working with the surgical team. Before VCA I worked with large animals on feed lots for about 3 years. I enjoy working with the team here at the hospital and hope to grow with the company .

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Louie Fierro

Hi, my name is Louie Fierro and I am a Veterinary Assistant here at VCA Animal Hospital (Burbank).   Before becoming a Vet assistant I was in the U.S Army. While I was deployed to Iraq, I watched a TV show called Animal Cops and from that point forward I knew I wanted to work with animals. After 3 years as an Infantryman, I re-enlisted in the Army reserves as an Animal Care Specialist. I successfully completed the Army’s Animal Care Specialist Course and graduated this past March. I have a cat name Rudy.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Robyn Molina

Hello my name is Robyn. I am a fairly new addition here to VCA Burbank, but certainly not new to veterinary medicine. From the time I was a small child, a career in animal medicine is all I envisioned doing. I have been a veterinary assistant for 10 years. My interests include surgery and emergency medicine.
When I’m not in the hospital, I enjoy spending my time outdoors or boxing. I am grateful to be a part of such a wonderful and caring team here at VCA Animal Hospital- Burbank.

  • Veterinary Assistant

    Ashley Scholl

Hi, my name is Ashley and I have always been an animal lover. I have worked as a vet assistant for about 4 years. I got into the field because I wanted to help animals in need. I enjoyed working with shelter pets while living in Louisiana. I have one cat named Cherub, but if I had the space I would have a dog or two. In my spare time I enjoy being outside. I love hiking, photography, snorkeling, scuba diving (anything to do with water really). I also volunteer at the L.A. Zoo as help to the zoo keepers. I enjoy being a part of the VCA family and if I haven't already met you, I look forward to your visit. Just a side note in the spirit of Bob Barker, please spay and neuter your pets.
