  • Best Vet in Atlanta

    -Ali D. from Atlanta, GA
    Pet Name: Wilson

The best vet in Atlanta can be found at Buckhead Animal Clinic. Although all of the vets are great, Dr. Davis is by far our favorite! We have had many allergy issues with our puppy as well as other bumps and bruises along the way. Dr. Davis's compassion for animals cannot be beat. She takes the necessary time, without rushing to complete a thorough analysis of the problems at hand. Her medical analysis is always backed by her great knowledge, experience, and having a doctor willing to take the time to hear you out is amazing! I honestly feel that she cares just as strongly about our dog's well-being as we do.

In addition, Buckhead Animal Hospital as a whole has been a lifesaver. Affordability is what initially drove us to take our Wheaten Terrier to them however cost is not everything when it comes to the animals you love—however this happens to be a major perk! The service that we have received as well as follow up calls after each visit adds to the genuine concern cannot be found elsewhere. They also have occasional coupons for discounts on vet visits which always helps. We have referred over five families to this vet as well all of whom have been completely satisfied. I cannot imagine taking our dog anywhere else other than Buckhead Animal Clinic.

I am confident that the service that is given to us at Buckhead Animal Clinic cannot be beat and given their time flexibility as well as multiple doctors, no one should have an excuse not to at least give them a try! I promise you will be extremely pleased & so will your pet!

  • We could not be happier

    -Steve from Atlanta, GA
    Pet Name: Ellie

We rescued our Wire Fox Terrier and immediately brought her in to the VCA Buckhead Animal Hospital 2 years ago and were treated like long time patients. We know that the staff and doctors really listen to our concerns about our fur kids long term health. They set up not just a fix it today plan but a long term health plan so 'our girl' can live a long happy and healthy life with us. They are the best I have passed on the name to all our fur parents needing the best vets in town!

  • Two Extraordinary Employees

    -Meredith from Atlanta, GA
    Pet Name: Maggie and Willie

A couple of months ago, I accidentally gave my dogs Ibuprofen instead of Benadryl. I had the flu and was taking cold medicine for the symptoms. Needless to say, I was a bit "foggy" when I made this terrible mistake. I called VCA immediately and spoke with Brittany who advised me to bring both dogs in right away. I did as she asked. My partner came with me for the visit.
Upon our arrival, Brittany took my dogs to the back and let us sit in the exam room closest to the reception desk. Brittany not only gave us constant updates on the status of our dogs but also kept checking in to make sure I was alright (I looked like I had been crying for days). She was so kind and gentle with us but especially with me as I told her that I was the one that made the dreadful mistake. Brittany treated me with an incredible amount of compassion and non-judgmentality and it was exactly what I needed. Her kind words and gestures helped us tremendously throughout this ordeal and meant the world to me.

While we were in the exam room, we also observed Brittany running the front reception area. She was professional, respectful and efficient with each and every client that signed in. It was delightful to watch her do such a wonderful job and be such a great representative for VCA.
I was a practice administrator for over 10 years and I know that most times clients share only their complaints with the office manager. I wanted to share my positive experience with you and tell you what gems you have in both Brittany and Marisa.
