Nina Anderson, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Michigan State University

Biography

Dr. Nina Anderson grew up in Michigan. Though she has lived in Georgia for several years, people still detect a Midwestern accent. Dr. Anderson graduated from Harvard College before continuing her education at the University of Michigan and Michigan State. She received her DVM from Michigan State University in 1998. Dr. Anderson has been and remains active in leadership with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). She became part of the VCA Buckhead AH team in July of 2005. She lives in Decatur with her husband Mike, their dogs Penelope and Molly, and two cats, Zooey and Francis.

"My love of animals, science and working in the community led me to veterinary medicine.  It is like no other job in the world!  I am amazed to see how much veterinary medicine has progressed since my vet school days.  I love to continue learning and improving this art of medicine.  One of the biggest joys of working here is getting to know our clients and their animals."
