    Maureen Rich
    Veterinary Tech School: Vermont Technical College
    School: Certified Veterinary Technician

    Maureen is a lifelong resident of Vermont and a 1981 Graduate of the Veterinary Technician Course at VTC Randolph. She is the Technician Supervisor and has been with Brown Animal Hospital since 1980. Maureen is a certified Vet Tech and is passionate about continuing education and progressing our field. Maureen's specialties include surgery and dentistry. She has been married to her wonderful husband Joe for 25 years. They have two sons; A.J., and Tanner, , and an extended family of a horses, named Tin Can Tucker, two dogs, Bobby and Remy, one cat, Sashi, three birds, Chloe, Penelope and Bluebirb, and a Gecko, named Liz. Maureen is a sixth degree Black Belt Karate Master. In her spare time (which isn't much), Maureen teaches Shaolin Kempo Karate and shows Quarter Horses.

    Sheena Hobart
    Veterinary Tech School: Suny Canton

    Sheena is a licensed veterinary technician originally from upstate New York. After graduating from Suny Canton in 2005, she worked as a technician in the Syracuse area for 4 years before joining us at VCA Brown Animal Hospital in December of 2009. Sheena and her boyfriend, Dave, are enjoying Vermont life and are especially passionate about skiing and hiking. They share their home with their boston terrier, Dudley, five cats, Money, Eve, Luka, Lucy, and Cranky, and their turtle, Pepper.

    Christine DeSimone
    Veterinary Tech School: Vermont Technical College
    School: Certified Veterinary Technician

    Christine is a Certified Veterinary Technician who began working at Brown Animal Hospital in May 1992, just after graduating from Vermont Technicial College.
    She enjoys all aspects of her work as a CVT, with special interests in critical/emergency care, and in canine and feline dentistry.
    Christine shares her home with her Doberman, Rosa.

    Deb Russell
    Veterinary Tech School: Becker Jr. College

    Deb attended Becker Jr. College and shortly thereafter started her first Veterinary Technician job in march 1980 at Brown Animal Hospital. She had the honor of working under the ownership of Dr. Harold Brown, a very well known and respected veterinarian in the state of VT. She was fortunate to have incredible training in all aspects of the animal hospital due to Dr. Brown personally training all new employees. Starting with 2 weeks at the front desk, then moving on to exams, lab, surgery and of course kennel. For the last 12 years Deb has had the privilige of being the primary tech for our surgeon, Dr. Kurt Kenney. Her responsibilities include everything from working with referral hospitals and clients, to assisting with exams, surgery prep, surgery, and patient aftercare. She considers herself very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with an incredible team from the time it was Brown Animal Hospital to the present VCA Brown Animal Hospital. Deb and her husband, Dave have 2 wonderful daughters, Jennifer and Erin that have been brought up on their small horse farm in Williston, spending time with horses has been a big part of their family life, often spending weekends traveling to the next hunter/jumper show. Also part of their family are 2 boxers, one goofy white rescue boy name Chance and the newest member, a little fawn female name Tiger.

    Dominique Francis
    Veterinary Tech School: Vermont Technology College
    School: Certified Veterinary Technician

    Dominique is a Certifited Veterinary Technician. She graduated from VTC in 1993 and joined VCA Brown shortly after. Dominique enjoys a good challenge with the difficult dentals that we are presented with. In her free time Dominique enjoys a walk in the woods, whether its hiking or on snow shoes. She has also been known to spend hours with her crafts.
