A Thank You from a patient's owners-Eric and Laura Newell from Brighton, MA
Pet Name: Jules
Hi Dr. Feldman, my name is Eric Newell. My dog Jules has been a patient with your practice for about 4 years now. You may or may not remember us, but I'm writing to let you know that we're moving back to our hometown in Upstate NY in early November.
I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing service over the last 4 years. Jules is the first dog my wife and I have had, and we adopted her with many health problems that took a long time to straighten out. So when it comes to finding a vet for her, we are understandably picky.
The care we received at the VCA was always top notch, and most importantly we always felt like you listened to all of our questions. No matter how small the matter we always felt that you really cared. That's huge, so we wanted to make sure you knew how important it was to us. If you're ever in need of a testimonial for any reason, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Thanks again, and best luck in the future.
- Eric and Laura Newell (and Jules!)
Couldn't be happier-Jai Underhill from Brookline, MA
Pet Name: Salem
Dr. Bean and Dr. Groper, I am amazed at how good Salem is doing after the tooth extractions. He has lots more energy, he seems stronger generally AND, he eats 3 times a day, anything I give him. I couldn't be happier and I can't wait for you to see him at the end of this month. Thank you so much, Jai Underhill
Much Appreciation-Jody Abrams from Brookline, MA
Pet Name: Lady Slipper and Sir Peanut
Greetings All; I felt compelled to drop you all this note. Rich and I have long appreciated all of the very personal, professional, and exemplary care our dogs have received over the years. You have seen us through helping our rescued dogs adjust to their new home and you've never been unavailable or unwilling to take on a challenge. Recently, Sir Peanut, a 3 pound new addition to our family (another rescue, no teeth, reserved, great disposition) was enrolled in daycare several times a week for the purposes of socialization. Every day when I pick him up he looks happy, you all look thrilled and you can genuinely give me a run down of his day. We love you all for your commitment to these fabulous four-legged creatures that some of us consider our children. We appreciate you all more than I can articulate in this note. If there is ever anything I can do in return...volunteerism... donations, fund raising, I would be more than happy to do so. I adore you all. If you need anything, just ask and in the interim, our heartfelt thanks for bringing our little one out of his shell. Sir Peanut is flourishing. He is a joy beyond any companion I could wish for. Most Sincerely, Jody Abrams & Richard Rosenstein

My Beagle was seen for the first time at VCA Brookline and I just want to thank you for the excellent care and follow-up my pup received during his first of many visits. I will recommend your facility to all my family and friends that have a pet for the best care ever. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN!!
ongoing appreciation-David Carrier from Roslindale, MA
I have been a client of VCA Brookline for 17 years. The entire staff is wonderful from front desk, technicians and the wonderful doctors. I am so grateful for the wonderful care of Dr. Lori Feldman and Dr. Scott Groper. They always find the best course of treatment whether simple or serious. They have literally saved lives for which no words can express my true gratitude. Dr. Feldman, you are a blessing.
Lila in Hong Kong-Jacob Meunier from Hong Kong, China, MA
Pet Name: Lila
Hello Dr. Sanchez, Dr. Feldman, and staff,
One month after our departure for Hong Kong and one day after Lila's fourth birthday, I wanted to share this update with the medical professionals who helped Lila along the long road of diagnosis, treatment, export through customs, and recovery. Today, Lila weighs exactly 4 kg (8 lbs. 13 oz.), which is nearly one pound more than she did last December, her lowest point, and about the same as before she got sick. She eats and drinks normally, and has a healthy appetite (she especially likes her Prescription Diet I/D). She uses her box regularly and normally, with no diarrhea. We are continuing her medication daily.
Lila's trip to HK was stressful for all of us, but ultimately without incident thanks to Dr. Feldman's diligence with the paperwork. We are temporarily living in a high-rise apartment until our permanent residence has been renovated. For now, Lila doesn't have much space to run around, no birds to look at outside her window, and no smells of the outdoors, but this will change in about two weeks. We will be moving off of Hong Kong Island to an outlying island, where we will be in a townhouse with a garden.
It is no exaggeration to say that without all of your help, Lila would not be the cat she is today. Last January, we were not even certain Lila would live to see her fourth birthday.
For all your professionalism, patience, and caring, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If Lila were able to understand all that you have done for her, she would thank you too.
Enjoy the attached photos of Lila's birthday, complete with a cheesecake in the shape of a wedge of cheese and two little cheescake mice!
All the best,
Happy Holidays-Brian Dunderdale from Roxbury, MA

Mr Wednesday-JJ from Allston, MA
Pet Name: Mr Wednesday
They were very helpful in helping me out with a painful decision. Relinquishing my "son". I'm a hundredaire and live week to week. So I couldn't afford to fix him. After a debacle at the Angell MSPCA...they called and offered to fix and put Mr W-my boobers-up for adoption. I just want to thank the staff and the two doctors for easing my pain and to help find a good home for my kitty. I will always miss him and he will be in my prayers. Good luck finding a home CAT! <3
Thank you-Susan L. Navarre from Brookline, MA
Dear Friends at the Brookline Animal Hospital,
I am writing to thank you for your help in exhibiting the Brookline Arts Center’s Palette Project palettes at the Brookline Animal Hospital this spring. The extra visibility for the arts center and for Brookline-based artists was a great step forward for the Brookline Arts Center: we brought fun new work by local artists to a broader community, while also raising money to support the Brookline Arts Center’s many free programs and low-income scholarships.
Thanks to you, your colleagues, your customers, and your peers in the Brookline business community, the Palette Project and Color Your World Gala combined to raise over $22,000 to support the Brookline Arts Center. We are putting these funds to work right away, providing access to free and low-cost art education to every child and adult in Brookline.
Again, thank you for pitching in on this fun and worthwhile project! Together, we are bringing local art and art education to every aspiring artist and creative child.

A Truly Amazing Place-Jill Crouch from Boston, MA
Pet Name: Cricket
My animals have been patients of Dr. Liza Sanchez at VCA Brookline since 2007. She and the team at VCA are truly incredible people. Not only does Dr. Sanchez provide excellent care, but she is kind and compassionate too. She has seen me through critical care, geriatric services and the euthanasia of multiple pets in the last three years. I would not have made it through without her and cannot recommend her or VCA Brookline enough.
