Wesley joined the team at VCA Brookline Animal Hospital in 2008. He is currently a student at Bunker Hill Community College, where he is persuing courses to enhance his veterinary knowledge. Wesley plans to continue working with animals and hopes to become an animal behaviorist. He lives locally with his dogs, KoKo, Duke, and Lady.

Veterinary Tech School: Mount Ida
Shannon is a kennel attendant/technician assistant that joined the VCA team in September of 2014. She is currently pursuing a veterinary technology degree at Mount Ida with a special interest in animal behavior and exotics. When she is not busy with school or work, she likes to spend her free time volunteering as a Zoo Keeper Aide at Stone Zoo as well as hanging out with her husband, her three cats, Touque, Aslan, and Basha and my "lap" dog Takoda (who weighs as much as she does!).

Christine joined the VCA Brookline team in 2000. Christine loves working with animals and takes extra special care of the cats here. She lives locally with her family. In her free time, Christine enjoys swimming at the local YMCA, spending time with her cat Bogie, and also working at Children's Hospital three days a week.

Eva joined our staff after volunteering in our treatment area while she was still in high school. She excels at working in our busy boarding kennel, and loves supervising the many playgroups that go on during the day. Eva is a hard working college student and has a special love for poodles- as she has two of her own at home, Freddie and Ginger.

Christian joined the VCA Brookline Animal Hospital in the Summer of 2015. He previously worked at another Animal Hospital and Kennel as well. Christian has a passion for animals and enjoys training them. Christian has two dogs Blaq and Blue that are pitbull rescue dogs.

Veterinary Tech School: Mount Ida
Juanita joined the kennel staff in spring of 2014. In between working here in the kennel, she is a busy Mt Ida College studying veterinary technology, and is aspiring to become a successful veterinary technician upon graduation. In addition to her background in retail, she also worked in the kennel at Mt Ida, and brings her experience and love of animals to VCA Brookline. Juanita lives locally and enjoys spending time with her friends.

Amanda is a kennel attendant and tech assistant. She started interning at VCA Brookline in high school and officially joined the team in the summer of 2012. Amanda is currently pursuing a degree in illustration and is continuing to take classes in the animal sciences. She loves working with animals, whether it be learning about them in the medical field or spending extra time with your pet in boarding. Amanda lives locally with her dog, Amber.

Karein joined the team at VCA Brookline animal hospital over a decade ago and has devoted her life to the care of pets and their owners. She is very passionate about the human-animal bond. Karein gives special attention to every animal under her care, and is skilled and caring enough to notice any changes in an animal and bring it to a doctor's attention. Karein lives locally with her cat, Zuzu.

Formerly Maria had been a hairdresser for over 20 years, and decided to become a groomer because of her great love for animals. With over 10 years of experience grooming both dogs and cats, Maria caters to your pet's breed and style to ensure each one receives personalized attention. Whether you have a big, fluffy Goldendoodle, a small Maltese or Yorkie, Maria gives your pet a haircut that will complement their lifestyle. If you have a long-haired dog like a Golden Retriever, Newfoundland, or Border Collie, Maria will do a light trim all over, get rid of any knots or mats, and make your pet look and smell great.
