    Laurie Lacolla

    Laurie was born and raised in Bristol, Connecticut. She has always been interested in science and the special bond humans have with their pets. After high school, she pursued a career in veterinary technology and graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with an Associates degree in Animal Medical Technology.
    Laurie began working for VCA Bristol Animal Hospital (then known as Bristol Veterinary Associates) in 1979 and became a certified veterinary technician in 1985. She has worked in all areas of the veterinary hospital and is currently the supervisor of the front desk reception staff.
    Still residing in Bristol, Laurie and her husband Kevin, now share their home with two wonderful pugs named Kona and Wallace. She enjoys traveling with Kevin and the dogs- while her favorite vacations are anywhere near the ocean. Laurie loves spring, summer and fall, The Boston Red Sox and is a devoted fan of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
