Biography

Dr. Rhodes joined our team and our family in January 2012, but we already knew her from working at one of our sister hospitals.  She attended Longmeadow High School in Western Massachusetts where she graduated in 1996.  After graduating high school, she attended the University of Massachusettes where she received a BS degree in animal science.  She then moved forward attending the University Of Pennsylvania where she earned her Veterinarian degree.  She truly enjoys working with her patients and believes in creating that special bond with them and their owners.

Her special interests include preventive care, dentistry and nutrition.  She currently resides in Strasburg with her husband Jamie who is also a veterinarian and with their three daughters.  Dr. Rhodes enjoy's spending time with her family and when she does have a little down time she also enjoys knitting and listening to audio books.

“I milked cows in my teens for an older vet. He hired me to help – I liked it and he convinced me to go to vet school and here I am! “
