My name is Marianela. I was born Cuba and grew up in Miami where I worked as a veterinary assistant for a year before I was accepted to Veterinary School at The University of the West Indies in Trinidad. I graduated in June 2014 with my DVM and I am currently working towards getting my US accreditation as a Veterinarian. In the meantime, I truly enjoy working as a veterinary technician and learning from my peers. I strive to offer the best medical care for our patients and firmly believe that it all starts with effective client communication. All of my pets have been either rescued or bred by my husband who trains them and competes with them on a national and international level.
Shauna has been a member of the VCA Briarcliff team since May of 1996. When she isn't busy working hard as a technician, Shauna enjoys playing with her two daughters and watching football. Shauna shares her home with "Bump" (a large breed mix dog) and "Calix" (kitty).
Veterinary Tech School: Sanford-Brown
My name is Jessica and I have been a Veterinarian Technician for two years now. I graduated from Sanford-Brown with my associate in Science. Growing up I've always had a passion for animals and have had many kinds throughout the years. I currently own a bearded dragon names James and he is pretty awesome! My dream is to become a Zoologist and be a care taker at a Zoo. I love to be around animals and to care for them. I couldn't imagine doing anything else!
