Originally from Greenville, SC, Dr. Erin Reichert is a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia. She earned her D.V.M. from Ross University in 2007 after completing her clinical rotations at Auburn University. She went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at MedVet Memphis in Memphis, TN and a surgical internship at Veterinary Specialists of Rochester in Rochester, NY. She completed her residency in small animal surgery at VCA Animal Specialty Center of South Carolina in Columbia, SC in 2013. Dr. Reichert is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Dr. Reichert enjoys all aspects of surgery from orthopedic and soft tissue to minimally invasive. She strives to learn new surgical techniques and processes to improve patient recovery and has a special interest in cruciate ligament disease.

When she is not in the surgery suite, Dr. Reichert enjoys being activity and enjoying as much time outside as possible. You will usually find her enjoying horseback riding, running, hiking, and spending tons of time with her yellow Lab, Jackson.
