Dr. Vicky Nelson received her BS and MS in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago then continued her studies at University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008. After graduation she started at VCA Bolingbrook and has been here ever since! She loves the culture of teamwork and exceptional patient care, and is excited to come to work every day! Dr. Nelson and her family share their home with Maggie the cat and Magnolia Rose the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. When she is not at work, her three sons keep her busy and constantly entertained. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and traveling the world. Dr. Nelson has a special interest in building lifelong bonds with her patients from puppy and kitten to adult.
