Why I come to work everyday

I come to work everyday to see animals grow and get well. Nothing is more satisfying. I love the fact that there’s something different everyday and I’m always learning . It’s an always growing profession and to get affection from a patient is better than anything in the world. My only “kids” are four legged and they are my life and to help my patents is my passion. I got “Marley” my manx by helping Chesed rescue because he was scheduled to be euthanized that day. My other cat “Zelda”, the main coon I got her here. She came in at 0.25lbs and DOA and I brought her back to life and has been my love since.

    Jessica Hultman

Jessica just recently moved to Florida last year, but is a Jersey girl at heart! She lived there for 21 years, and then moved to Arizona for six months, and now sunny South Florida. She has a 9 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix named Roxie who was there with her through all her travels. Roxie is the highlight of everyday for Jessica! In her spare time, Jessica loves to be outside riding her bike, walking Roxie, or just enjoying the weather.

Why I come to work everyday

I have always been drawn to animals of all kinds. Being around them all the time and making sure they get the best care is what I enjoy. Seeing them reunite with their parents whether it’s after a groom or surgery is always the best part of the day. I have four legged kids of my own and wouldn’t trade them for the world!

    Paola Llanos

Paola was born in Cali, Colombia and lived there until she was 9 years old. She moved to United States 12 years ago and has not been back since then. Getting used to living in the United States was really hard at first; learning a new language, getting used to a new culture, making friends, and doing well in school was very difficult. Having three sisters and her family to stand behind her made the transition much easier! She is currently living with her boyfriend and their three cats (Annie, Wade, and Oliver). They love playing and taking long naps together. Some of her hobbies are going to the gym, dancing, going out to eat, watching movies, and going to get a tan at the beach!

Why I come to work everyday

I work at VCA Boca Greens Animal Hospital because I was given then the opportunity to work with animals, to learn about them, to show the love I have for them, and to treat them the way I would like my pets to be treated. I can honestly say that is one of the things I love about working at VCA it is that way we really care. As a receptionist/kennel, I like to pet, play, and love all of the animals that come through the door. I believe it is very important for our clients to see that we really do care about their animals, and to understand that at VCA: their pets become our FAMILY!

In her free time she likes to read, go to the beach, and go to the zoo. She has two amazing little boys named Xavier who is six, and Jacob who is 10 months. They have a dog named Rex and two cats, Smokey and Cookie.

Why I come to work everyday

    Jenny McKell

Jenny was born and raised in South Orange, New Jersey. She has considered herself a snowbird since she was eight years old when her family would stay at their house in Sarasota at least 3 times a year. Jenny lived on the west coast of the country for many years, but I always knew she would move back to Florida, and did about two years ago. Now living in sunny Boca Raton, in her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with friends and family and most of all she loves spending time with she Terrier mix “Lucy” and her 4 cats.

Why I come to work everyday

I work at VCA Boca Greens Animal Hospital because ever since I was a young girl I have always had such a passion for animals, and knew that in my life I would pursue a career working with them. As I went from adolescence to adulthood, I chose the veterinary medical field. For the past sixteen years I have worked in most departments of animal hospitals and love every minute of it.
