Blue Point-Bayport Animal Hospital

Dr. Lani Ramsden, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Texas A&M University

Biography

Dr. Ramsden was born and raised in the small town of Port Aransas on the gulf coast of Texas. She attended Texas A& M University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her bachelor degree in biomedical science and Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She spent her first few years in a large mixed animal clinic in the Texas hill country practicing 80% small and 20% large animal. Although she truly enjoyed working with horses, upon moving to Long Island she decided to narrow her focus to canine and feline medicine and surgery. She is now living in her husband’s hometown of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY. She began practicing at Blue Point-Bayport Animal Hospital in June 2008. She is thoroughly enjoying her patients, clients, and staff at BPBP. She feels one of the greatest advantages of working in a small practice is being able to follow up on her own patients and really getting to know her patients and clients. Her goal is to give compassionate care and offer quality medicine for every patient.
