  • Certified Veterinary Technician

    Stephanie B
    Veterinary Tech School: Ridgewater College

I graduated from Ridgewater College, in Willmar MN, in the spring of 2014. From there I went on to an internship at a specialty practice in Longmont Colorado. Afterwards I came back home to Minnesota and started working here at VCA in March 2015. I got in this career because of my love for animals! At home I currently have a yellow lab, a border collie lab mix that I rescued, a kitty, a guinea pig, a leopard gecko and a corn snake. In my free time I enjoy playing with my critters and snuggling with them on the couch watching Netflix. I absolutely love my job here and everyone I work with. They are a great supportive team that is always working hard together to give the best care to everyone’s fur babies.

Veterinary Tech School: MN School of Business

I graduated from MN School of Business in 2009, and have worked as a small animal veterinary technician since then. I was fortunate to do my pre-graduation externship at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of MN, and I really enjoyed helping all the wildlife. I have a teenage son, a dog, and two cats. Some of my favorite activities are being out in nature, cooking, gardening, and listening to music, especially local artists. I really like working here because everybody is very nice and supportive - we work very well as a team to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Veterinary Tech School: Madison Area Technical College

I graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2015 and was given the opportunity to begin my career as a veterinary technician here at VCA Bloomington. I also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from UW River Falls prior to attending vet tech school. After I finished school in Madison, I moved to Minnesota with my fiancé, our rabbit Licorice, and our hedgehog Yoshi. In my spare time I like to hang out with family and friends, snuggle with Licorice and read a good book, catch up on my favorite television show, and attend Zumba classes. I like working at VCA Bloomington because all of my co-workers are very supportive and team oriented, which allows us to provide exceptional care to your pets.
