VCA Bering Sea Animal Hospital

New Clients

Dear Pet Parent,

Thank you for choosing VCA Bering Sea as your new family doctor. We look forward to meeting you and your pet(s). Together, we'll make sure he/she stays healthy and happy throughout his/her life.

Before your first visit, please gather any previous medical or adoption records you may have for your pet. Your new veterinarian will need this information to get an accurate record of your pet's medical history and to create the best treatment plan for your pet.

When you visit the hospital, please arrive 10 minutes early for paper work and be sure to bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash. This will help prevent any incidents with other animals that may also be in the lobby. If you don’t have a leash or carrier please let one of our client services representative know during your call.

During your appointment, one of our Veterinary Technicians will ask you some questions regarding your visit. During this time they will get a current weight, temperature and attain a brief history of your pet. They will also talk about what the doctor may want to do during this visit.

When the veterinarian examines your pet, she/he will take the time to listen and ask questions so they can understand your current concerns. They will perform a full physical examination of your pet - checking his/her eyes, ears, and mouth and listening to his heart. During the appointment they will go over what physical finding or any recommendations they may have for your pet.

We are very excited about meeting you and your pet(s). We will always strive to provide the level of care that you both deserve.

Should you have any questions about your upcoming visit or procedure, please do not hesitate to call us.
