  • Thank you

-Karen Cunningham and Tom Coplen from Austin, TX
    Pet Name: Bella

We have a 4 year old athletic German Shepard (Bella) who suddenly became very sick. Dr. Mackey did emergency surgery on her, late in the day, for a twisted enlarged spleen. It had to make her (Dr. Mackey's) day difficult, but she did it without complaint. Bella is doing so well 3 days post op that the hardest thing we have to do is try to keep her calm.

This was all new to us but after doing research this is a very difficult surgery and Dr. Mackey and staff did an excellent job.

They came highly recommended from friends and I have to say I am glad that we listened.

  • The people are what make BenWhite the clinic it is

    -Brandi Wilson from AUSTIN, TX
    Pet Name: Chester

Pet Image VCA Ben White is charged with the task of tending to the pet, as well as the family that accompanies it. Over the years, Ben White has consistently provided my dog with the best medical attention, while ensuring that I understand and am comfortable with the treatments. They diagnosed him diabetes, and since then, have treated the disease and the illnesses that can accompany it.Whenever I arrive, I am always greeted with a smile by the friendly staff. Each member has sincere concern for my dog and empathizes with me and my anxieties. While demonstrating professionalism and efficiency, there is an innate sense of genuine care. There is a process and flow to visiting BWVCA; but my experiences are not indicative of an assembly line or factory environment. The staff is not cold, sterile or detached. They are always interested in how we are doing. The doctors are reliable and give thorough details of the various symptoms or illness, as well as approaches to relieve or remedy the issue. They provide stop-by-step explanations that make it easier for me to reach decisions about his well being. By not pursuing aggressive treatments or pushing any unnecessary testing, the doctors make helpful suggestions to treat his symptoms. They make him feel better without forcing me to always choose between his health and my finances. I understand that the treatment of my dog can be costly at times. However, I would never support a clinic that preyed upon my fears by promoting expensive or aggressive treatments just to make money.I am confident in their care and treatment of my most prized pet. I cannot imagine another facility providing the same level of care that the staff at BWVCA provide. The people are what make BWVCA the clinic it is. They are the reason I am so loyal. They are the reason I recommend VCA to my friends.

  • Kudos

    -K Stevenson from Austin, TX
    Pet Name: Nugget

Pet Image The main reasons I selected VCA Ben White Animal Hospital was because they accept the Care Credit card and the first visit was free. I have had my dog since January 2010 (courtesy of Craig's List) and I have spent almost $1,400 for his medical care and treatment (again I am glad they accept the Care Credit card). I had to get him immunized since there were not records. Additionally, my dog had to be treated for heart worms. I am grateful for Dr. Mackey and the hospital staff. Visits were always pleasant. Calls to Dr. Mackey were returned within 24 hours.

  • If You Want The Best For Your Pet

    -V. Anderson from Austin, TX

I have been going to BWPH since 1997 to date. Everyone there gives you and your pet the best of care. Everything is explained to you in detail, the prices are reasonable, but most of all the vets have a genuine care for your pet. They even cry with you when it's time to let go of your beloved family member. They do everything there is to be done to make your pet feel brand new again. I love them all. Thank you for the special care you have given my extended family over the years. PS I have a very large extended family.

  • Thank You

    -Jamie P. from AUSTIN, TX
    Pet Name: Molly

I just wanted to thank the entire team at Ben White for helping Molly through her case of Parvo. The time, energy, and devotion you all showed means the world to us and Molly is back to her wonderful, hyper puppy self! Thanks for saving our little girl!

  • Great Staff and Animal Care

    -Michelle from Austin, TX

We have been taking our two cats to VCA Ben White Animal Hospital since they opened. Dr. Garza is great with our cats during annual checkups and those unfortunate emergencies. The front desk staff is always helpful and pleasant to speak with when I call or walk in.
