Dr. Garza grew up in Marion, Texas on a small farm. She attended Southwest Texas State University and received a BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry in 1997. She completed her DVM degree at Texas A&M University in 2002. She completed her internship training at California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles, CA, studying Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Dr. Garza began working at Ben White in July 2003. She is active in the community through the South Austin Rotary Club.
