    Shannon Bonnell

Shannon is a native of the Seattle Eastside. She was born and raised in Kirkland, WA, spent some time living in Everett and has recently moved back to the area. Shannon has been with the VCA family since 2013 both as a Veterinary Assistant and Client Coordinator at the VCA Snohomish Animal Hospital. Her recent move to Bellevue is what brought her to join the VCA Bellevue team and we couldn’t be happier to have her! She has been in the veterinary field since 2008 so she has lots of experience helping pets and their people.  As a young girl she was actively involved in Job’s Daughters and in 1996, she was the King County Princess for the Ellensburg Rodeo! She grew up having many dogs and cats as pets and spent her hours after school and summers at the barn just being with the horses. Shannon has a very close family and when she’s not working you can find her camping with her parents, husband and children. Her son Tyler is 18 and an avid competitor in E-Sport competitions and her daughter Stefnie is 13 and loves comic books, fantasy novels, and learning how do to special effect make-up. Shannon has a wonderful 8 year old Rat Terrier named Dagger who you will see in the office some days looking for a treat or a face to kiss. Her other furry kid, Crook, is a wonderful 14 year old adopted Tuxedo cat named after his mysterious crooked tail. She loves working with clients and helping to teach more about health care for their pets. Shannon’s favorite quote is one she created herself “Stand tall, be proud, and reach for the stars.”

    Madison Mac Dougall
    School: Colorado State University

Madison is a California transplant hailing from Santa Barbara in early 2014. She grew up around horses and even taught riding lessons as a teen. Knowing she always had a passion for animals, she attended Colorado State University to study equine science. She will always have a special interest in horseback riding, although she doesn't get to nearly as often as she'd like. She spends most of her free time with her Australian Shepherd Stevie G. exploring the Pacific Northwest, in fact you may run into them at the dog park! Stevie G. is an excellent Frisbee catcher and hopefully an agility dog in the making!  Madison loves working in the Veterinary industry and will soon be broadening her knowledge by becoming a hospital trained Veterinary Assistant here at VCA Bellevue Veterinary Hospital. She is very excited to be able to spend her days working to benefit pets and their people. Madison's favorite quote: "No matter how little money you have and how few possessions you own, having a dog makes you rich." -Louis Sabin
