The Purrfect Treatment-Carol Burke from Manassas Park, VA
Pet Name: Smokey
I have been taking my cats to VCA Beacon Hill Cat Hospital since 1994. When I moved from Alexandria, VA to Manassas Park, VA, I tried using a clinic closer to my home, but never got a warm fuzzy from the staff. I travel from Manassas Park to Alexandria (over 60 miles round trip) to have my cats seen at Beacon Hill because they CARE about cats and people too. They are very efficient and professional and are never too busy to answer any questions I have about my cat’s health or treatment. Dr. Nancy Suska, Dr. Bazemore, Ms Tiffany, Ms Angela and Mr. George (just to name a few) are the greatest folks.
Dear Drs. Suska, Bazemore and all at VCA-Kathy Cook from Alexandria, VA
Pet Name: Jameison
Dr. Suska and her entire team have taken excellent care of our cats for over 15 years. In addition to providing superb medical care, they are caring, compassionate people who understand each cat’s personality and treat them accordingly! I highly recommend them.

Hello fellow felines-Faulkner from Alexandria, VA
Pet Name: Beau
I just wanted to meow a bit about VCA Beacon Hill Cat Hospital. I’m very satisfied with the way VCA meets my medical and social needs. Don’t tell my owner, but it’s nice to meet and greet other humans for a change. The staff is always so friendly-it breaks the monotony of only having one human to relate to. I’ve been visiting VCA for my medical needs for my entire lifetime and have them to thank for controlling my asthma, and managing my early stage kidney disease. Kudos to my owner and to the staff at VCA for a lifetime of good health! Even my Abby "siblings" Emma and Sophie are happy with their care, and you know how fussy they can be!
P.S. Your human will also enjoy the clean , friendly, and caring environment from the reception area to the exam room. Thumbs and toes up to VCA Beacon Hill Cat Hospital!
Psycho Kitty-Mindy from Alexandria, VA
Pet Name: Fritzie
Fritzie (my cat), is a challenge. He does not socialize with anyone very well--with the exception of me--and all of my friends refer to Frizie as psycho cat. I have not had very good luck with vets. The last vet that I tried to take Fritzie to said that they would not see him unless he was sedated and even then they were unwilling to work with my schedule. The last time I took him in they required that I leave him there for an entire day for observation...needless to say that this did not go over very well with Fritzie. When I moved to a different part of Alexandria, I decided that I was going to find a new vet one that would work with me and wouldn't be so bothered by Fritzie's challenges. That is when I found Beacon Hill Cat Hospital. The first visit with Dr. Suska was interesting. Fritzie was his typical hissing, swatting and growling, self. But despite his challenges Dr. Suska remained patient and calm and even tried to examine him, but soon gave up after he peed on her. We then came up with a plan for the next visit. When I brought Fritzie back in she was just as eager to see Fritzie as she was the first time, even though he peed on her. Fritzie was quickly sedated and the examination and ensuing tests were all run quickly and professionally and Fritzie was back in his carrier and on his way home before he even knew what happened. I want to thank Dr. Suska and her team for being patient and caring despite his challenges. This was the first vet that I have gone to that hasn't made me feel like I was a bother. I have also received several calls from the staff to make sure that Fritzie was doing ok after his visit. For those of you out there who also have psycho kitties rest assured that there are vets out there who care and who will not treat your cat like a wild animal!
